Question:
Hi, I need to assistance in figuring out which taillights I need for my shorelander jet ski trailer. It uses the parts: 5110570 and 5110569 with the no open wires but the 3-connector plug. Do you have an equivalent set of tail lights that would be a -in fit? I would be willing to rewire if necessary. The OEM versions are kind of priced high and looking for alternatives if they are exact form, fit, function and interface within reason. Thanks.

Hey Pete, thanks for reaching out. The best replacements for the ShoreLand'r 5110570 and 5110569 tail lights are the Peterson LED Trailer Tail Light # PE27RV for the driver side and # PE87RV for the passenger side. These measure 7-15/16" wide by 2-7/8" tall, include the same basic stop, turn, tail, and license plate functions, and give you a much more affordable LED replacement.
These lights use three loose wires instead of the factory 3-pin plug, so the old connector needs to be cut off and the new lights wired in with heat-shrink butt connectors. We do not have a direct plug-in replacement for that ShoreLand'r connector, but this is a clean, straightforward swap and the closest match in size and function.
