Dexter Bearing Kit for Dexter 6,000 lb Axle

Question:
Hello, I’m looking for bearing kits for the Dexter 6000 lb axles pic included on our 2016 Montana High Country 310RE. Is the DX58ER the correct kit? Thank you, Steve K

Hey Steve! The correct kit for your 2016 Montana High Country 310RE is the Dexter Bearing Kit, 15123/ 25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal # DX26ER. This is designed for 6,000 lb axles, and will fit your hubs assuming they're original to the trailer. The other bearing kit will fit your spindle but the 14125A has a different outer diameter so it wouldn't fit your hubs properly

Hello Steve K, I do trailer bearing repacking every 15,000 miles for my trailer. I purchased the kit Robin H. called out for a Dexter 6000 lb axle on my Grand Design 2021 320MKS, I used a Bearing Race And Seal Driver to install the rear wheel bearing seals just flush to the hub face. These seals are high quality but need care to install slowly and evenly. Go slow until flush with hub and stop.
