Recommended Electric Happijac Camper Jacks w/a 36" Lift

Updated 08/06/2026 | Published 07/28/2026

Question:

On a 2014 NorthStar 9.5 Igloo truck camper with a usable weight of about 3600 which is has manual Happi Jac 4160 jacks and pre-wired by NorthStar, for Happi Jac electric jacks. What electric Happi Jac model or kit should I purchase? I am concerned about the current jack units because of the force required to raise and lower, I think I need to replace them. Also, I need 36 of lift. Thank you.

Thanks for the information Mellissa. For an electric HappiJac system that will give you 36" of lift, I recommend the HappiJac item # LC736515-ELKIT.

The HappiJac item # LC736515-ELKIT comes with everything you need to install the four electric jacks. From the jack legs themselves, to the control box, remote, and wiring this kit comes with everything you need to get your NorthStar 9.5 upgraded to higher capacity jacks with a taller lift ability.

The Manual-to-Electric Conversion Kit for HappiJac Truck Camper Jack Systems item # LC733960-182524 is what you would need to hook up to your pre-wired system. It converts your current jacks to electric so this is not going to solve any of your problems.

What kind of truck do you have and is it a dually?

@MelissaM Right on! That's a big truck! The Swing Out Extension Brackets item # LC182496 is the only other part I would recommend adding if you don't already have them with your manual jacks. These are going to give you some extra clearance for the dually wheels.
