Hi Ryan, I'd be happy to help you find the right replacement. Just to make sure we're talking about the same part, are you referring to the roof vent cover and not the entire roof vent assembly? If so, the best way to identify the correct replacement is by measuring the vent opening and matching the hinge style and lift arm to your existing cover.

Most trailer roof vents have an opening that's around 14-1/4 inches by 14-1/4 inches, but it's still a good idea to verify the size. If you can find a manufacturer name or part number on the vent, that helps too. For example, the Vent Cover for Ventline Old Style Rounded Dome Trailer Roof Vents, Part # BV0554-01, fits 14-1/4 inch by 14-1/4 inch roof openings on Elixir roof vents made after 1995 and Ventline V2094 roof vents made before 2008 that use a continuous hinge. I've attached an incredibly helpful article about how to choose a vent cover as well.

If you're not sure which vent you have, feel free to send me a few photos of the vent, especially the hinge area and lift arm and I'll be happy to help identify the correct replacement. Out of curiosity, what do you use your Freedom trailer for, work, hauling toys, or camping?

I purchased the continuous hinge vent for my trailer and is identical to the one I had before which is one I purchased around five years ago from etrailer. The information on the website is accurate, and I had no problem at all getting the new one put in, works like a champ now!
