Can I Use the MORryde Drop Down Tray for a 2,000 Watt Predator Generator?

Updated 07/28/2026 | Published 07/22/2026

Question:

Do you think this could be used for a small generator like a 2000 Watt Predator? Its 19inch tall and 12inch wide 24inch Deep. I would like to just bring it out when need to use without having to lug it out of storage.

Hello Terry,

Thanks for writing in!

I have a solution for you, but unfortunately, the MORryde RV Griddle Drop Down Tray # MR22ZV won't work for your Predator generator. The tray's interior measures 21-1/4" wide by 14-3/4" long, and your generator is 24" deep, so it won't fit.

If your RV has enough room in the storage compartment, you need the MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray # MR79RR instead. It is designed specifically for generators, has a 24" x 24-1/4" interior tray, a 300 lb capacity, and includes straps to keep the generator secure while traveling. I attached an image of a customer using it with their Predator, it is the 5000, but if it can handle that one, it can most definitely handle your 2000. I wish it had the drop down like the griddle one, that is a really neat feature.

If you can tell me the inside dimensions of your storage compartment, especially the depth, I'd be happy to make sure this will be a great fit for you.

Getting things geared up for the next great adventure? Where are you headed to next?
