Looking for Replacement Lead Leg for Landing Gear of 2019 Grand Design 5th wheel 230rRL 150 Series

Question:

I am in need of a lead landing gear leg for my 2019 grand design 5th wheel 230rl 150 series. It will not move the upper gears appear to be free and want to move but they wont extend or retract. could you help me figure out which leg I need, also I am currently in Fairbanks Alaska.

Hey Peter, we can definitely help. Most likely what you need is the replacement lead leg part # LC179013 that you referenced as this is by far the most common replacement. You would want to measure the length of the outer tube of your current lead leg and make sure it is 29-1/2 inches long though. If that checks out this for sure would be what you would need.

Peter, had the same issue with my 2016 5th wheel. Removed the old one. Appeared to be fine. Reinstalled it, same problem. Replaced the leg with a new one. Problem solved
