Question:
The video showed me the bolt size and length for mounting along with two different washers on the top. What washers would I use with the nut underneath? Thanks

Hello Rick,

For the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Topwind - 15" Travel - 3,000 lbs # TJA-5000T-B, you'll want to use a flat washer under the bolt head and another flat washer under the nut. A lock washer should be installed between the flat washer and the nut to help prevent the hardware from loosening over time.
So, from the bottom up, the hardware stack should be the nut, lock washer, and then the flat washer against the trailer frame. This gives the lock washer a solid surface to bite into while the flat washer helps distribute the clamping force across the frame.
What kind of trailer are you looking to add this jack to? Fun camper, or work trailer?

I used a flat washer under the bolt head and another flat washer and a lock washer above the nut. The flat washer above the nut goes to the frame and the lock washer after that, then the nut. The lock washer helps prevent the nut from backing off, but be sure to check it after the first few uses to ensure it's compressed tightly. I used grade 5 bolts.
