Hi Michelle! Yes, the remote start key fob on the Cummins Onan P11000iTF part # CM98MR will operate the generator whether you're running on gasoline, propane, or natural gas. The only thing to keep in mind is that the generator has to be set up for the fuel you're using before you hit the remote start button.
If you're using gasoline, make sure the fuel valve is turned on. If you're using propane or natural gas, the fuel supply needs to be connected and turned on, and you'll need to set the fuel selector dial to the correct fuel. Once everything is set up, the remote start works the same regardless of which fuel you're using.
Out of curiosity, are you planning to use it mostly for home backup power or for RV camping?
