Hi Curtis, you can expect about a 20 percent reduction in running power when using natural gas instead of gasoline. This generator is rated for 9,000 running watts and 11,000 peak watts on gasoline. On natural gas, it is rated for 7,200 running watts and 8,800 peak watts. If you choose to run it on propane, it falls in between at 8,100 running watts and 10,000 peak watts.

That reduction is normal for tri fuel generators since natural gas has a lower energy content than gasoline. If your total power needs stay under the 7,200 running watt rating, it should perform just fine on natural gas.

What are you planning to power with the generator? I can help you make sure the natural gas output will be enough for your setup.
