Hello Mike,

Thanks for writing in.

For your 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, you need the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs, Rear # AL63WQ.

The Air Lift 1000 installs inside your factory rear coil springs and does an excellent job of reducing rear-end sag when you're towing. It helps keep your Pathfinder sitting level, which improves stability, steering feel, and overall ride quality. One of the biggest advantages is that you can adjust the air pressure to match the load you're carrying. When you're not towing, simply keep the springs at the minimum recommended 5 psi to maintain their shape. Then, when you hook up your trailer, you can increase the air pressure as needed to level the vehicle and improve handling. I attached a picture of one installed.

If you wanted to pair it with an onboard compressor, check out the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote - Bluetooth - Single Path # AL25980. I attached a video so you can see exactly how it works.

What are you looking to tow with your Pathfinder that you need the extra support? Also, do you have a weight distribution hitch as well? If not, what is your loaded tongue weight?

I added the AirLift 1000 to my 2023 Pathfinder last year. It has dramatically improved my towing experience. Adds a bit of lift to the rear when inflated and firms up the suspension to provide for a smoother tow as well as additional support to minimize spring fatigue. In my case, I am near the 6000lb towing limit when pulling our camper and this enhancement (along with a WDH) keeps the rear sag in check nicely. I inflate to 30-35psi to tow and keep at 10-15psi for normal commute.

@JasonR Pairing with a weight distribution hitch is always a great idea! Thanks for the response Jason =)

Installed the Airlift 1000 on a 2022 Pathfinder towing an RPod R-195 camper. Really leveled out back end, pretty much eliminated rear end sag & overall the rig feels more stable (we don’t have antisway bars). Highly recommend putting the bladders in warm water to make them more pliable prior to install because fitting them inside the springs wasn’t easy. However, once installed, very pleased with result. Two thumbs up.

@RickM Thanks for the response Rick, and the pointer with the bags in warm water. If you want to add just a drop of dish soap in the water, they will slide in just a smidge easier.
