Question:
I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD crew cab 4X4 diesel... but my concern is not if this product will fit the truck, its a question of bar length for the trailer. I have a covered car hauler with a V nose which limits the length the bars can be. Im noticing that other then the short bar kit the bar lengths are not listed. Can you tell me what the bar length is for this kit? Thanks

The trunnion bars used by the Curt # 17302 are 30-5/8 inches long. The chain hanging brackets would mount so that they're centered roughly 29 inches rearward from the center of the trailer ball.
If the V-nose of your trailer covers the top of the trailer frame at that location, no worries. You can simply use a bolt on chain hanger, like part # C17005.
Instead of flipping the hanger lever up to take the slack out of the chains, you'd use the trailer jack to raise the trailer tongue and the rear of the vehicle (leave the trailer hitched) high enough so the chains get some slack in them.
