i have a curt q20 hitch i am thinking of gy48fr my only concern is bed height distance 2024 chev 1 ton with pucks 2020 high country 295rl SHORT BED

The Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box - Lippert 1116/1716 - 30K GTW - 4.5K TW # GY48FR will work with your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 but the height will depend on your trailer's setup. It's not something that I'm able to confirm, so you would have to measure your setup to confirm that it will fit in your bed. You will also need to confirm that your 2020 High Country uses a Lippert 1116 or or Lippert 1716 in order for this adapter to fit the trailer. The more common bolt pattern would be a Lippert Rhino or Lippert 1621, but it is definitely possible that you have a 1116 or 1716. You can use the link below to measure your bolt pattern.

The # GY48FR is not compatible with a Curt Q20 because that's a fifth-wheel hitch and the connection style of the adapter uses a gooseneck ball. If you need an adapter in the other direction (to take the trailer from gooseneck to fifth-wheel), then I recommend Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Trailer Coupler Adapter - Inner Tube - Round - 25K lbs # KPG5-R25-IP. If you're in need of a ball, I recommend going with B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit for Ford, GM, Chevy, and Nissan Titan XD Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNXA2061 and that will allow you to connect directly to the trailer with the # GY48FR.

To ensure the gooseneck adapter will fit in the bed of your truck once installed, you will need to confirm that you have 21.153" of clearance as shown in the photo below. The adapters are made to fit most vehicles, but there's no definitive list of which trucks will or will not fit.
