Will Voyager 12V PWM Filter Allow Furrion Vision S to Work With 2025 GMC Sierra Denali
Updated 07/14/2026 | Published 07/08/2026 >
Question:
I have a new Grand Design 5th wheel with a Furrion Vision S backup camera added after market. I pull the camper with a 2025 GMC Sierra Denali Duramax. The camera monitor would not work in the truck without a Furrion adapter but when the adapter was plugged in, the truck would gave an error message saying the trailer was disconnected. Would the Voyager VGR64VR 12V PWM filter hardwired at the camera fix this problem? Or some other specific PWM filter?

Hey Linda, congratulations on the new 5th wheel! Yes, installing the Voyager 12V PWM Filter # VGR64VR will solve this problem with your truck and the camera system. I actually like this better since it is a permanent installation on the trailer side and you don't have to worry about carrying around or keeping track of the Furrion adapter.
Where are you headed next with your Grand Design?

Perfect solution. Had the same issue with my 2025 Silverado and the filter worked perfectly. Very easy to install and fixed the issue. Don’t forget you have to turn your headlights on instead of auto also ..

This part worked much better than the plug adapter. I also got a brake disconnect message but the new gmc products have an issue with electric over hydraulic brakes and after many trips to dealer I found it needed another diode on the wire to the hydraulic pump.

Quick & super easy to install- it fixed the problem immediately! My issue is with Furrion itself… they probably are aware of this ongoing design flaw, but fail to include a filter in the design or as an included and necessary accessory.

The PWM is working great with my truck / trailer setup. I am pulling a SportTrek 343VIK (Furion camera mounted on the factory mount) with my 2023 GMC Denali HD Diesel. The install was simple, wiring the PWM between the factory wires and camera.

Thank you. I will be ordering the PWM from your site. We have several trips planned including one very soon to the Keys!
