Are There Wireless Trailer Taillights that Have a Reverse Function?

Dear Sir Madam ? Acura 2024 RDX A Spec Looking to buy wireless trailer lights - I was told that the RDX had an 8 way trailer outlet in the harness that can support +12v for the wireless transmitter + a reverse light signal Do you know if this is correct? Wireless 7pin only consumes 6Ws so its a low load device Just need to know if these functions are available or only the STD PIN LT RT Marker Gnd Any help would be greatly appreciated Rgs Paul

Hi Paul,
The only wireless trailer lights that we carry are the Optronics Wireless Magnetic LED Trailer Lights Battery Powered Part # OPT88UB. They have a transmitter that plugs into the tow vehicle's 4-way flat, and a wire runs between the two lights. However, this light kit is only stop, turn, tail and doesn't have the reverse light function. It doesn't have a reverse function because the 4-way flat doesn't have a dedicated reverse light circuit, that is present in a 7-way. If you need a wiring harness to install a 4-way flat on your 2024 Acura RDX you can use the Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness with 12V Power Provision part # C63VV. The 12V power provision in a wiring harness means the harness includes a dedicated circuit that supplies constant 12-volt power from the vehicle's battery to the trailer or an accessory and protects your vehicle's circuits.

Hello Paul, I bought a set of these and they look great but I actually never used them. They look like they would’ve worked wonderfully just things worked out differently than I thought and I ended up not needing them after all. They looked sturdy and well-made and that’s about all I can say about them.
