Hello Robert,

Thanks for finding a reason to write in =)

The Benton MoveHitch 60x24 Cargo Carrier # B38VR does have the potential to interfere with the rear parking sensors and rear cross traffic alert on your 2025 Mazda CX-90 since it sits directly behind the vehicle. That said, I haven't heard of this being a common issue with this carrier. I really wish I could give you a more direct yes or no answer.

For what it's worth, my own vehicle has several rear sensors, and I regularly use a hitch-mounted bike rack, even with bikes loaded, without any sensor issues. Every vehicle's sensor system is a little different, though, so I can't guarantee your CX-90 will behave the same way.

If you do notice the sensors detecting the carrier, many vehicles allow you to temporarily disable the rear parking sensors while a hitch-mounted accessory is installed. Your owner's manual will have the details for your specific Mazda.

Are you planning to use the carrier mostly for road trips, camping gear, or everyday hauling?
