Hi Steve!
The Benton MoveHitch 60x24 Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches w/ Cargo Net - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs # B38VR can definitely be used in the 2" hitch on a 5th wheel. That said, you will want to double check the weight capacity of that hitch.
This weighs 45 pounds and you will want to subtract that from the hitch capacity to see what kind of payload you can get on this. Most hitches on 5th wheel trailers typically aren't rated as high as vehicle hitches are and you are always limited by the lowest rated component. So if your hitch can handle 300 pounds, that would mean you have a 255 pounds of payload capacity to work with. Which is a good amount of stuff.
On that note, what kind of gear are you wanting to load onto this?
