Question:

I need to replace a slide-out topper. The slide is exactly 72 so I assume I need a 78. Do you sell just roller tube, no hardware, no awning fabric? Thank You Alan

Hey Alan!

For your 72" slide topper awning, you will need to use an awning like Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 73" Wide - Black # LCV000165063. This full awning kit is made for slide-outs between 68"-73" wide, so this would be the more ideal choice for you since a 78" kit is made for 74" - 79" wide slide-outs.

You can use Replacement Left-Side Head and Roll Bar for Solera RV Slide-Out Awnings - Black # LC87FR and Replacement Right-Side Head and Roll Bar for Solera RV Slide-Out Awnings - Black # LC34FR for replacement roll bars for this awning. They are side specific, and the sides are based on looking at the camper. That means the left side would be the rear of the camper and install on the side of the idler head and the right side would be towards the front of the camper with the driver head.

Are you just upgrading your current slide-topper or did something happen to it, causing it to be replaced?
