Question:
Hi, I have a 2020 Travel Lite Falcon F-23TH toy hauler with Lippert tandem axles part number V000394701, each rated at 3,500 lbs, 33inch center-to-center tandem axle spacing, and 3inch round axle tube diameter. The current stock setup allows only 1inch to 1.5inch of travel between the axles and the frame, resulting in frame-contact damage. I want to install 2inch lift blocks and replace the stock steel equalizers with Lippert Equa-Flex 314336. Can you recommend the correct 2inch lift block kit, including U-bolts, for this specific axle configuration? The stock setup is leaf springs under the axle. Moving them over the axle would, I think, compromise the aerodynamics and stability of the trailer. So I would like to keep the same setup under axle, but get another 1-2inch of travel between the axles and the frame. Thanks for your help!

Hey Russ, thanks for the information. The only solution I have is to move your axles below the leaf springs. We do not sell lifting blocks and I do not recommend using them on your trailer. The reason for this is because they can cause the trailer to become extremely bouncy and rough which is just going to put more stress on your suspension and wear out the trailer faster. Lifting blocks also increase the risk of axle wrap/twisting of the axle under heavy braking.
Since you have 3" diameter axles, I recommend the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit item # K71-385-00. This kit is sold per axle and includes all the U-Bolts and mounting brackets you'll need. This is safe proven method to raise the height of your trailer without sacrificing stability or safety. The aerodynamic difference between flipping the axles and using lifting blocks is not going to be significant.
What kind of truck do you tow your toy hauler with?
