Looking For Replacement MC4 Connectors For 2021 Lance Camper With Factory Solar From Go Power

Updated 07/06/2026 | Published 06/27/2026

Question:

I have a 2021 Lance 2465 with factory installed solar on the roof. Who panels going into a Go Power Cable Entry Plate. One of the two MC4 connectors on the roof went bad and melted a little bit. It is a go power system. I noticed you have two different Go Power MC4 connectors on your site and I cant tell the difference. I bought two on line from another vendor and they arrive but they are a lot smaller than the ones Im trying to replace. Would you be able to direct me to the correct MC4s?

Hey Mark, thanks for reaching out. If you need to replace just the MC4 connectors you can use the following:

- Redarc MC4 Connector Kit for Solar Panels # RED98VR

This comes with both the male and female MC4 connectors. it doesn't look like we offer MC4 connectors from Go Power, but these Redarc ones are universal and will match up just find with MC4 connectors from Go Power and other brands. You'll just need to cut off the old plug and crimp/solder the new one on.

Do you go off-grid a lot? Where do you usually camp?

I can’t add much to Mark’s reply other than to point out you will need a tool to crimp the connector. If you do the crimp with pliers or similar you are just setting yourself up for an other replacement. A poor connection will get hot and fail, do it right and it should last for years. A personal note, I put a little dielectric (silicone) grease on the sliding parts you’ll get a better seal and less corrosion. Good luck.
