Question:

I have a 2022 Jayco Pinnacle 36fbts that has the Morryde LRE4000 suspension . I’m looking for the wet bolt replacement and bushings. I have 2 that’s not taking grease . Thank you

Install the wet bolts with the weep hole downward (away from the weight and pressure). Also, use a high pressure grease pump (rather than a hand pump).

@LesterM Install the wet bolts with the hole on the bolt shank facing horizontally so that it is neither at the top or the bottom. These two locations can put pressure across the hold preventing grease to be applied. When you replace the bolts, always replace the bushings. You can easily drive the old ones out with a pin punch. Drive the new bushings in with a wooden block and hammer. When installing the bolts, be sure to use a wrench on the Zirk fitting end of the bolt to ensure it doesn't turn while installing and torquing the nuts. The nut will draw the bolt into the hanger or shackle so the knurling is engaged but not turning in the hanger or shackle. The nuts will stop at the shoulder when properly torqued. The bolt and nut should not squeeze the spring hanger (or shackles at the load equalizer). The nut should only be torqued against the shoulder of the bolt. Never re-use the nuts. They are designed with a locking thread. When the nuts are removed, the locking feature of the thread is no longer any good and the nut could back off if re-used.

Shoulder bolts from e-trailer are the best quality you will find. Install them correctly, which is to say the hole should be at either 3 or 9. I replaced all of mine at five years.
