Question:
I have a 2025 Ram 2500 that does not have the fifth wheel prep/puck system installed. I will be pulling a fifth wheel camper on a 6-12 month road trip and am trying to determine whether I should have the puck system installed, or go with a different option? I would love a bed that returns to normal when not pulling in the future, but it sounds like the puck install will be around $1800 locally. Let me know your thoughts! Thank you!!

Hey Craig, we can definitely help! So for an under-bed style fifth wheel setup that costs less than what you are quoted and is really nice I would recommend the B and W Companion part # BW53QR which comes with both the underbed rail system and a really nice fifth wheel hitch that you will really like as well. Many refer to the Companion hitches as the best hitches around as they are very quiet and well-made so you'll really like this.
