I own a 2026 Brinkley Z2680 fifth wheel with a Lippert/Curt hitch 1821. Which Gen Y adapter hitch do I need?

Hey Frank, nice 5th wheel! It looks like the 2026 Brinkley Z2680 actually comes standard with the Curt Helux, which would be a Rhino bolt pattern. Were you saying it has a 1621? That is the other common bolt pattern, sometimes people call it an 1821 if it is an 18k model but it is still a 1621.
Assuming it has the Helux, the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY33GR is the correct replacement. This fits the Lippert Rhino bolt pattern, and the 4.5K TW rating is what you need for your 13,995 lb GVWR.
If it is actually the Lippert 1621, you need the # GY38FR instead. If it isn't the Helux, and you aren't sure, feel free to send me a picture of the pin box sticker with the S/N and I can identify it. You will also need safety chains # GY49GR to complete your setup, and an optional cover # GY99TQ is also available.

I have the Brinkley z2680 and removed or rather replace the Curt helix fw with the Gen Y gooseneck and night and day difference. Also installed it alone with a cherry picker.
