What is Difference Between 912 and 921 Bulbs

Question:

I have a 1999 Hornet Travel trailer and the ventline hood says it takes a 12VDC 3.0 Amp bulb and there is a number 912 shown. Will the 921 bulb work in my hood?

Yes, the 921 bulb # VA0415-00 will work well for you. The 912 and 921 bulbs are interchangeable as they have the same T-5 wedge base. The 921 has a wattage of 16.8 and draws 1.4 amps. The 912 is 12 watts and draws 1 amp. So the 921 should burn brighter than a standard 912 bulb.
