Hello, please help me figure out the right part numbers I need to flat tow my 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit with my 2026 Renegade Verona LE. From your site I think I need a removal arms base plate, a hitch style tow bar, straight safety cables, and Id like a fixed proportional breaking system. I would need the right wiring harness as well. Thanks much.

For the base plate kit, the correct part will depend on whether your Grand Cherokee Summit is equipped with factory front tow hooks and/or if you have lower air shutters. Once that is confirmed, I can provide the base plate part number for your vehicle.
For the tow bar, I recommend the Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar # BX7420. This is a heavy duty, 10k lb rated tow bar with non binding arms that make hooking up and disconnecting much easier, even on uneven ground. It also includes the required safety cables, so separate safety cables will not be needed.
For the Jeep's tail lights, brake lights and turn signal functions, the Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit # RM-15267 will include the wiring harness that connects the coach and the Jeep.
Since you are looking for a permanently installed proportional braking system, I recommend the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # DM26VR. This system is designed specifically for motorhomes equipped with air brakes. It is one of the most popular and reliable flat tow braking systems.
I strongly recommend adding the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25. Many newer vehicles experience battery drain while being flat towed and this kit helps keep the Jeep's battery charged from the motorhome while traveling.

The blue ox anvil non binding tow bar is all about quality. I replaced my blue ox i bought in 1999 blue ox is the way to go. I flat tow my ram 2500 crew cab now and have no problems at all.
