Hey Allen, thanks for reaching out. We have just the thing! For your Dexter 3,500 lb torsion axles you'll need the following:

- Hub Bearing Kit for Lippert, Dexter, and AL-KO Axles - 3,500 lb with #84 Spindle # BK2-100

This comes with both bearings, races, grease seal, cotter pin and tang washer. Everything you need to repack/service your bearings. A lot of people even pick up and extra kit just to have a spare on hand.

Are you redoing all your hubs, or just one?

@AllenL Awesome! That's definitely a good call. Might not hurt to carry some extra grease # L11380 and a bearing packer # PTW1218 around with you too. The grease I mentioned is lithium complex grease so just make sure you aren't mixing different grease types.

I purchased kit for Dexter axel under Winnebago Micro Minnie and all worked out except. The kit sent was outdated in that after approx. 2002 Dexter changed the design of the hub nut retention and they do not use a cotter key anymore...but I was able to use the grease new seal I ordered for the repack and reused the new nut retention clip during reinstallation. Good parts, order came in a timely manner but recommend looking at Dexter Manuel (on their site) to make sure you actually know what you need......also Dexter has their own grease now that is used during manufacture so you can get that as well.....also make sure you have the right special tools for example there is a tool you can attach to your grease gun to pump the old grease out of the bearing and pump new grease in....much better then trying it with you hands and the tool is only $9...torq wrench and a good seal puller tool as well......Be safe and have fun.

@Bob Thanks for sharing that, Bob. I appreciate the heads-up on the Dexter hub retention design change, that's valuable information for anyone working on a newer axle. It's also great to hear you were able to complete the job successfully and that the seals worked as intended. Thanks for taking the time to share the tips on the grease tool and other specialty tools as well, those can definitely make the job go much smoother.

I bought the kit as a spare for a 2600 round trip for peace of mind and haven't used it yet. All parts are like-sized to the OEM bearings/ seals/ etc.

I have bought the kit to have with me on my trips. Have not had to use it yet. I've had my camper for a couple of years and plan on checking everything before our next trip.
