Questions about the Gen Y 5th Wheel hitch for a 2025 Grand Design Solitude 30-70DV with 19K GVWR

Question:
I am potentially looking at purchasing a Gen Y fifth wheel to goose ball hitch and was curious of a few questions. 1. Does the one offered have the pull cable to un-latch from the ball ? 2. Also is the size only based off of GVWR of the actual camper ? I have a 2025 Grand Design Solitude 370DV with a 19,000 GVWR with the Rhino Frame mount . Thanks James Fischer

If your 2025 Grand Design Solitude 370DV has the Rhino pin box, then the Gen Y Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY33GR would be a direct replacement.
The Gen Y Gooseneck pin box doesn't have a remote pull cable release. To disconnect from the gooseneck ball, you'll use the release handle located on the coupler itself.
The correct replacement pin box is not selected just on the trailer's GVWR. While the trailer's GVWR is used to ensure the pin box falls within the proper weight and pin weight range, the replacement also needs to match the mounting pattern of the existing pin box.
If you have the factory Rhino pin box, the # GY33GR is designed specifically for that mounting style and is rated appropriately for trailers with a GVWR up to 24,000 lbs.
