Hi, I have a Thule Cascade XL roof box that Im trying to mount to aero bars on a 2020 Toyota Highlander. Do you sell a mounting bracket that would work? Thanks

I sure do Jason. The Replacement QM3 item # TH04997 works with the Cascade 667.

The Cascade 678XT roof box is the Cascade XT 1700, which is also referred to as the Cascade XL. Depending on how old it is either one of these mounting kits work as replacements. It just depends on the configuration of the bottom of your box.

I attached a couple of pictures below of the mounting kits.

Hi Jerred, Thanks for the informative reply. I investigated more and my box is a 676XT with Quick-Snap brackets. What I'm looking for is a bracket meant to work with the aero cross bars on my vehicle, rather than the rectangular Thule bars the Quick-Snap brackets were designed to work with. Got anything like that? Thanks, Jason

@JasonS You're welcome and thanks for that model number. The Replacement EasySnap Mounting Kit item # TH05820 will work with aero crossbars. We've got a few pics and several reviews on the product page that demonstrate their compatibility. The U-bolts in this kit are 3-1/4 wide x 3" long x 1/4" diameter and will fit on most factory and aftermarket crossbars. The item # TH05820 mounting kit is exactly what you need for a Thule Cascade 676XT.

@JasonS, I added the Replacement EasySnap Mounting Kit (item # TH05820) Jarred recommends to my old (2004?) Thule Cascade box and then successfully mounted the box to a set of Yakima CoreBars (aero profile) with a little modification to a set of Yakima 39H MightyMounts. Specifically, I sliced the mighty mounts in half, using only the top half between the bracket bottoms and bar tops. Worked like a charm! Not sure about the exact profile of the 2020 Highlander bars, but this also works on my 2013 RAV4 factory bars, FWIW.
