Can I Set Water Temperature On Dylux Tankless Water Heater In My Camper?

Question:
Can I set the water temperature on the Dylux, or do I still have to mix hot and cold at the shower like my old RV water heater?

Hi Michelle! The Dylux RV Tankless Water Heater # DY54FR includes a wall controller, so you can set the outlet temperature between 95°F and 131°F instead of relying only on the shower handles like you would with an older tank-style heater.
For the best shower experience, I’d set the heater close to the temperature you actually want at the shower. That way, you can run the hot side more steadily instead of setting the heater extra hot and then cooling it down heavily with the cold handle. This model also has a child lock that limits the max temperature to 113°F, which is a nice feature if kids will be using the camper.
Michelle, is this going in a family travel trailer or a smaller one?

Thanks. It's a Keystone 5th wheel. It'll be nice to be able to adjust it with the thermostat that comes with it. Just purchased.
