CE Smith 5’ carpeted bunk boards CE27820. What sides of boards are stapled? I need one narrow edge clear of staples. What are boards made of? Treated? Thank you

Hey Mike. The CE Smith Carpeted Bunk Boards item # CE27820 have staples on the bottom and ends of the 5' long boards. There are no staples on the sides or top. They are not treated and are made with Southern Yellow Pine lumber.

If you want to use treated boards, you can purchase your own boards from a local hardware or lumber store and wrap them with the CE Smith Deluxe Marine-Grade Carpeting for Bunk Boards item # CE11330.
