Need serious backup power without overthinking it? This dual-fuel generator lets you switch between gas and propane on the fly, so you're covered anywhere. It's strong enough for big loads and easy to start remotely when you need it most.
When smaller portable generators are not enough, this dual-fuel generator delivers the output needed for larger loads and essential equipment. It provides 9,500 peak watts and 7,500 running watts on gasoline, making it a strong choice for RV use, home backup power, and jobsite applications where dependable 120/240V power is important.
Fuel options matter when you are preparing for outages, working remotely, or powering an RV setup. This generator runs on gasoline or propane with simple fuel switching, so you can use the fuel source that fits your situation. Gasoline provides up to 9,500 peak watts and 7,500 running watts, while propane provides up to 8,550 peak watts and 6,750 running watts.
Changing elevation can make carbureted generators more complicated to manage. The EFI engine design supports high altitude operation without carburetor adjustments or carburetor maintenance, helping deliver dependable performance with less setup work when conditions change.
Larger power demands need an engine built for the job. The 420cc OHV 4-stroke engine delivers high output for powering larger loads and essential equipment, with a maximum engine speed of 3,600 RPM to support steady generator performance.
When backup power is needed, getting the generator started quickly matters. The remote start system includes key fob control with a 99' range, along with onboard push button start and pull cord backup, giving you multiple ways to start the generator at home, at the campsite, or on the jobsite.
Extended runtime helps reduce interruptions when you are managing an outage, powering a jobsite, or supporting RV essentials. This generator runs up to 14.4 hours on gasoline or up to 10.8 hours on a 20 lb propane tank at 25 percent load.
Safety is critical when running a generator around homes, RVs, and work areas. The carbon monoxide detection system automatically shuts down the unit for added protection when unsafe CO levels are detected.
This generator includes multiple outlet options for a range of power needs. The 120/240V 30A L14-30R outlet supports compatible higher-capacity connections, while two duplex 120V 20A GFCI outlets provide standard protected 120V power. Two 5V USB ports are also included for charging compatible USB-powered devices.
At 211.6 lbs, this generator is built for serious power, so positioning support matters. The integrated handle design helps make transport and placement more manageable when setting up for RV use, home backup, or jobsite power.

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Onan 9,500 Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator. This can run on both gas or propane, and it has a nice remote start. So whether you're running a large RV powered job site, maybe if you're a construction worker, agricultural things, who knows, maybe you're just tailgating, or you're preparing for backup power in the case of emergency, this is a great option for you. It's got an impressive 9,500 watt peak of power, and it has the capacity to handle the high demand and equipment and multiple appliances all at once. So whether it's your RV, air conditioners, fridges, power tools, home essentials, this has that power and more.
And with the dual fuel capability, you can run it on either gas or propane, and that's gonna give you flexibility and extended runtime options wherever you are. So at the heart of this generator on the bottom is that very powerful heavy duty engine. It's been designed for reliable performance. It's built to keep up with the demanding conditions and fluctuations of power while maintaining consistent, dependable output of clean power. So it is a convenience as far as having something, you know, as far as peace of mind.
But another good convenience is the remote start function. So you have a remote start option. Have a nice key fob here, sorry about the glare, and that's gonna be able to just simply push a button from up to 99 feet away, and that's gonna be great. So if it's raining, whether it's nighttime, maybe at a campsite it's raining, or it's snowing even, depending on where you're at and what time of year, that makes it really easy to just be able to push a button and know that you're gonna have peace of mind and power right when you need it. Now it may be big, it looks pretty big and bulky, right But it is mobile.
So again, I've got nice big wheels on here. I can spin it around, I can move it to wherever I need to on the job site or at home or at the campsite. And it's not too heavy as far as moving it with the rollers. It does weigh dry about 210 pounds. As far as some dimensions, I got 27 5/16 inches long with the handle down.
20 5/8 inches wide. So this way. And then 22 5/8 inches tall from top to bottom. So again, this handle can fold down and now you can see you have a pull string backup. Then of course you have your air filter box option and access. On the top here you have the fuel where you can put the gas in. You also have on top here a fuel reader so you can visibly see what kind of fuel levels you have. And then coming back here on the main front here, you've got your propane connection and everything for LP gas. And then you have also a push button start down here if you don't wanna use the key fob and you're close enough. And then of course, you have lots of different options. So this control panel's been designed for versatility and ease of use. You've got multiple different power outlets, and you've even got a large 50 amp connection. And that's RV ready. So that's gonna be, again, for those larger rigs or full hookup style power needs. And you're gonna find a digital display on here as well. And with that digital display, you can be informed with realtime stats, whether it's voltage, frequency, runtime, maintenance starts, and those kind of things. And that's right here. Again, folks, this has been built with durability and ease in mind, This is the Onan 9,500 Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator. I'm Steve with etrailer. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
