Does the Power Watchdog Surge Protectors Make any Noise?

Question:

Does the watchdog 50 amp hardwired surge protector make noise? And if so do you the the avg decibels? Trying to determine if want hardwired or non hardwired.

The only noise you should hear from any of the Power Watchdog Surge Protectors would be a small audible click when the unit energizes or disconnects power. This includes both the Portable Power Watchdog # HU62VR and the Hardwired Power Watchdog Surge Protector # HU82VR.

You’ll usually hear a single click a few seconds after plugging in, and another click if it disconnects due to bad campground power. The click is brief and not a constant noise. You shouldn’t hear any loud buzzing, humming, or repeated clicking.

How often are you traveling to different campgrounds?
