Manual Jack That Can Be Powered By Dewalt Jack On A-Frame Of Small Camper
Published 05/18/2026 >
Question:
My 2019 R-Pod still has the original manual tongue jack, and I’m over cranking it every time we camp. I don’t really want an electric jack because I don’t want to mess with wiring. Is there a bolt-on option I can run with my drill? I've heard of jacks being powered by cordless drills like my dewalt. thanks.

Hey Heather! The etrailer Manual Sidewind Trailer Jack w/SnapPad and Drill Adapter - A-Frame # e38AV is exactly the kind of jack I’d look at for that.
It fits the common 3" on-center A-frame bolt pattern, has a 2,000 lb capacity, and gives you 14" of lift. You can run it with the included 3/4" socket and a non-impact drill, but you still have the sidewind handle as a backup.
The included SnapPad is a nice bonus for campsites too, especially if you’re parking on gravel or dirt. Heather, do you know if your current jack tube opening is the standard 2-1/4" size? If you happened to want a side-mounted jack instead, we do have this jack in that style as well with part # e86AV.
