Hey Luiz, congrats on the new camper! To add a 7-Way connector to your 2024 Subaru Forester, I recommend the Universal Installation Kit item # ETBC7. The kit includes a 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your Forester with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle, like yours, with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.
You will then connect the blue wire to the blue wire on the brake controller, connect the black wire to the positive post on your Forester's battery, the white wire to a suitable ground, and the yellow wire to the accessory circuit by your rear tail lights. This will provide you with the ability to control your trailer's brakes and also provide you with a 12v power wire for charging your trailer's battery. This kit includes all the wiring, connectors, and circuit breakers you'll need.
For a brake controller, I also recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty w/ Universal Wiring Harness item # RED52VR. This is a proportional brake controller that activates your trailer's brakes when your Subaru decelerates. This is the safest way to slow or stop your trailer that doesn't put additional stress on your Subaru or trailer.
I really like the Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED52VR because of its easy of use and unique installation method where the only visible portion is the control knob that's about the size of a nickel. The main unit is hidden away inside your dash to be completely out of the way and out of sight. The included universal wiring harness is all you'll need to complete the installation.
I attached a couple of wiring diagrams below along with some installation videos so you can see how to get these parts installed.
