Is a License Plate Relocation Bracket Required when Using a Trailer Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier

If the items on the carrier reach just under the license plate on my 2014 Mazda CX-5, is that acceptable to leave the license plate on the Mazda? If needed, how can a license plate be installed on the carrier?

If the cargo loaded on the etrailer Cargo carrier # e98874 come up to the bottom of the license plate on your 2014 Mazda CX-5 but do not block it then there shouldn't be any problems.
You can add a license plate bracket to the back of this carrier using # LP15SB but you would have to drilling into the carrier. Otherwise you could just zip tie the plate to the back of the carrier but you would have to cut it off every time you were finished and it is not as secure as an actual bracket.
