Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at this Thomas Payne Signature Swivel Glider RV Recliner with Footrests. Now, if you're looking to make your RV feel a little more like home, this Swivel Glider Recliner is going to really be a nice upgrade option for you to consider. This is designed specifically for RV living and it's compact enough to fit through narrow entry doors, but it's still gonna give you that full recliner feel and comfort that you typically expect from home. And I have to say this is probably one of my favorite chairs that we carry here at etrailer, mainly because of the glider function.
I love rocking chairs, especially rocking recliners. And so this one is definitely one that I like. It has a nice smooth gliding feature. And so this is going to combine practicality, comfort, and style all in one package. And again, it's going to go a long way in giving you that living room experience that you would expect from home in your RV.
It's designed for the vibrations and bumps and movement that happens inside of your RV or camper. And this would even be a great option for like a small apartment, maybe, for a college kid or something like that. So it's not just limited to RV life. So as I mentioned, it does glide, which is my favorite feature, but it also swivels very smoothly. That's what I really like about this chair, is everything is very smooth.
And then to get it to recline, for the footrest to pop up, we have a lever right here. So you just pull that and then it's just as simple as that. So it's very easy to get this to recline. It's gonna push back really nice. And then when you're ready to get up, you'll just use the back of your legs and push back firmly and you'll be back in the upright position.
So no power cords to worry about, nothing to plug in. And it's very comfortable. It has just enough of that sink in feeling where it feels plush and comfortable. But what I like about it as well is it's not hard to get up from. So it's gonna be very comfortable, but very easy to get up out of as well. Let's talk measurements. Looking at the overall width from end of arm to end of arm, we're sitting pretty close to 30 and a half inches wide. The overall length, right at about 36 and a half inches long. The overall height, right at 39 inches. And then when you have this fully reclined, that's gonna be about 62 inches from the top all the way to the bottom of the footrest. By the way, I failed to mention, we do have a shoe protector or a shoe guard there on that footrest. So if you climb into your chair and you leave your shoes on, that plastic sleeve is going to protect the upholstery there, that material. And if you want to cut it off, you can, you don't have to leave it on there, but I would typically leave something like that on there just for extra protection. Some folks like to know about the measurement of the seat. So the actual surface that you're gonna have to sit in is gonna be about 22 inches long, 22 to 20 and a half inches, depending on if you have this reclined or not. And then the overall width of the seat, about 20 inches. Now this is a durable polyhide vinyl and the color, which I don't think I've mentioned yet, is Satula. I think I'm saying that correctly. That's what Thomas Payne calls it. And the best way that I could describe it is like a rich medium to dark brown color. It's soft to the touch. It looks like leather and it's got the stitching to make it look like leather. But of course, it's not leather. But I think it's gonna be really easy to keep clean. It's gonna be very easy to clean up spills and things like that. So I think it's gonna hold up really well. It feels, even though it feels nice and smooth, I think it's gonna hold up to tearing and damage real well. And I do like that extra touch of stitching to give it, it kind of sets it apart a little bit, but again, you're gonna have plush padding, very comfortable to sit in. I think you got pretty good back support in this as well, which is something that I am appreciating more and more and when you have it fully reclined, it's just going to be very comfortable. But again, I'm a big fan of that gliding feature.
