Hi guys, I'm looking at the MoveHitch mainly for camping trips. Will the etrailer Cargo Bag fit on it?

Hi Angela! Yes, it will. The etrailer Cargo Carrier Bag # 988501 measures 59" x 24" and was designed with 60" x 24" cargo carriers in mind. This will fit nicely on the Benton MoveHitch # B86VR, and will keep your camping gear protected while freeing up room inside your vehicle.

Keep in mind, the cargo bag might block your vehicle lights so you may need to add the light kit # e67RV depending on where everything sits on your setup.

Works well, keeps cargo mostly dry. It is a high bag and plenty strong. I would not use on a short 2-3 inch sided cargo basket. The higher sided baskets make it much easier to do a good and easy job of securing to the basket.

@MikeK great tip! 3" high rails are probably right at the limit, and it would be a lot harder to try and secure it on the designs that have shorter/no rails. Not impossible, but you're probably adding in extra straps to keep it from going anywhere. Thanks!

I also have this. Works great! Heavy duty zippers and nice straps already attached to the bag. It’s actually made of pretty durable material that’s got nice weight to it. Feels like it will last a long time. We’ve used it for lake and beach trips and it really helps out with saving space on interior room. Either that or it gives my three daughters incentive to bring more, not sure which! Happy Shopping!

@Jason sounds like you're getting a lot of good use out of it! The same is true for my kids when we take the roof box along. It's either incentive to take more with us or bring more back, maybe just both.

I have two cargo bags with the cargo carrier (2' hitch and w/ lights added) for a long time. The bags hold two 27 qt. storage containers. I stack two containers on top of two container using two bags and I tie them down with straps. It works well. The bags keep out water and dust.
