Question:
I need a Pollack RV 7 way receptacle PA66 MD40. This has a square type connection not a round connection. Everything I look up says PA66 GF30 which isnt correct.

Hi David, you’re right to question that because the PA66 MD40 you have is the square plug OEM style and most of what you’re seeing online is not going to match.
The correct replacement for that setup is the Pollak part # PK11893-11933 that you were looking at, which is designed to plug directly into that factory rectangular harness without cutting or modifying anything. Even though the markings you’re seeing like PA66 GF30 look different, those are just material codes for the plastic housing and not the actual connector type, which is why everything else you’ve found hasn’t looked right or lined up with your square connection.
We have this one listed for Dodge and Chrysler applications since that’s where it’s most commonly used and confirmed, but it has also been used successfully on some Mercedes setups with the same square connector. I know how frustrating this search can be when everything looks close but not quite right, so you’re definitely on the right track here.
What do you usually tow with your setup?
