Question:

What mounting bracket fits this 4-way flat harness. I bought the bracket 18144 and it would not fit and I ended up breaking my new harness. So looking for correct bracket for when I order new harness.

The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Wiring Harness 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 41155 has a bracket designed perfectly for it: the Hopkins Fold-Over Mounting Bracket # HM48595. I attached a video that shows how to use it with your 4-pole flat harness. It just folds over the harness and can be screwed up into your bumper, hitch, etc.

Some also use separate no-drill mounts like the #18136 long bracket or # 18140 short bracket. These are separate mounts for your bracket mount if you don't want to drill into your bumper or hitch. They do require their own screws and nuts though, since the Fold-Over Mounting Bracket # HM48595 comes with its own self-tapping screws that aren't compatible with the other additional mounts.
