Hi, Does the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps for 21-3/4 to 22-1/4 Wide Doorways - 3 Steps Part Number: MR58RR fit in my Jayco Jayflight SLX Baja 145? My door opening is 21 3/8 wide.

You’re really close on the fit here. The MORryde StepAbove # MR58RR is designed for doorways that are 21-3/4" to 22-1/4" wide, so with your opening at 21-3/8", it’s just a bit under the minimum.

That means you can still make it work, but you will need to make some modifications to your door opening. Your doorway is 0.37" smaller so you would need to check to see if there is anything you could "shave off" to get that little extra space that you need.

The other measurement you’ll want to double-check is your entry height. This step is designed for heights between 30" and 33", measured from the ground to the threshold.

Hello, thank you for the response to my question about the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps for 21-3/4 to 22-1/4 door opening. Are you saying that I can make these steps work in my trailer? What modificationss do I need to make to the door or frame? I had given up on considering the MORryde steps, but if I caj make these work, I will definitely rethink this. @Casey You may be able to make it work, but it would likely require modifying your doorway. We haven’t done this before, so you’d want to take a close look at your setup to see if there’s any way to gain the extra space needed for the steps to fit. Right now, your opening is only about 0.37" smaller than what’s required. I’d also recommend double-checking your measurements to be sure. Try measuring right at the floor level to get the most accurate reading.
