The narrowest part of my door is 24” exactly. Will these fold up inside of that?

Hey Nathan, we have a solution with the MORryde StepAbove # MR26RR but the Lippert step you mentioned does not fit your RV doorway width. The MORryde StepAbove is basically the same thing made by a different company with slight differences.
