Can Rhino Rack Vortex Bars RRVA126S-2 Be Used On A 2026 Subaru Forester Sport With Flush Rails

Question:
Hello, I need help outfitting a 2026 Subaru Forester Sport with flush rails. I want to retrofit my previous crossbars Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 49 Long - ITEM RRVA126S-2. I know that I need new towers, but I dont know what kind to get. When I search the website through the vehicle filters it is only showing me Yakima and Thule options.

Hello Gabriel, thanks for reaching out. You are on the right track here, and I have good news and bad news for you. The good news is it is possible to re-use your # RRVA126S-2 vortex bars on your 2026 Subaru Forester Sport with flush rails. More good news is we do offer the towers you can use for this, but the bad news is we do not carry the fit kit. Here is the part number for the towers:
- Rhino-Rack RX200 Legs for Sportz Crossbars and Pioneer Platforms - Flush and Raised Rails - Qty 4 # RR53YE
For the fit kit you'll need Rhino Rack part RX2FK019. We don't carry these here, and it looks like they are out of stock at Rhino Rack currently, but if you can get your hands on one, that will complete the roof rack using your vortex bars.
If you can't wait on the fit kit, you'll have to do one of the more available options like a Thule or Yakima.
What will you be using the rack for? How soon do you need it?

Hi Jesse, thanks so much for the prompt reply and creating visibility on this. To confirm, I can get the towers with you guys but I still need the fit kit and that is currently unavailable here and on manufacturers website? But I do need both, correct? Not really in a rush but I’d like to have them set up by early June. I have a cargo basket that I got with you guys that id like to loan up some totes for a camping trip.
