Can Thomas Payne Trifold Replace Theater Seating In 2021 Grand Design Imagine 22RBE XLS

2021Grand Design Imagine XLS 22RBE Want to replace theater seat with T and P trifold sofa sleeper Is this doable for our trailer? Are instructions for removing theater seats available? Theater seats are in good shape. Other than private sale is there a good way to recycle them?

Hey Eric! Yes, this is doable for your trailer. The Thomas Payne Rest Easy Trifold RV Loveseat and Sleeper # TP69KR will fit as long as you have a 26" or wider entry door and have space for the 68" width of the seat.

I don't have instructions for removal, but they're all pretty similar. They are either bolted/screwed directly to the floor or brackets are holding them down. Raise up the foot rest, remove the any brackets or bolts, pull the power, and then you can pull them out of the trailer.

I recommend using something like Facebook marketplace to resell them, especially since the seats are in good shape. RV owners are always looking for replacements. I'm sure an RV scrap yard would be happy to take them as well.

Any big trips planned with the Imagine once you get the new sofa installed?
