Hi I’m looking at buying a fifth wheel trailer. My truck is a 2024 Chevrolet 3500 long bed dually with the factory prep kit. I would like to convert the new trailer to gooseneck to make life a little easier. Which adapters should I be looking at? I currently have the bandw removable ball and safety chain adapters

Hey Matthew, welcome back! For a gooseneck pin box I recommend the new MORryde GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box like # MR47MV. The GooseTech uses the same technology as their cushioned pin boxes and will give you a smooth ride by eliminating most of the road shock and chucking. It also has an automatic latch for a quick and simple hookup.
This particular version of the GooseTech is designed to fit Lippert 1621 bolt patterns and trailers with a GVWR over 18,000 lbs. If you can tell me the bolt pattern on the 5th wheel, and the GVWR, I can help you find the right fit. You also need to pick up safety chains # MR23MV and if you want a lock to keep it secure you can use # IR66FR.
