Question:

I have a 2023 Grand Design 376ths at 20,000 GVW with a 20,000 GVW Reese GooseBox that I tow with a 2019 RAM 3500 Crew Cab Dually. The Goose Tech is only 18,000 GVW. Will Moryde be increasing the GVW capacity in the future?

Hey Robert. The MORryde GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # MR47MV works with Lippert 1621 pin boxes up to 19,000 lbs GVWR. These are only a few months old so there's no word yet about MORryde making ones with a higher capacity.

If you're needing to replace your Reese Goosebox, we have the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY48FR that works with trailers up to 30,000 lbs GVWR.

Please note that both of these pin boxes will only work with a Lippert 1621 pin box bolt pattern.
