Question:

Hello. I am looking for electric drum brakes for my 2024 Grand Design 2903rla. It has Dexter 7000 lb axles with a 8 bolt pattern for the hub. I recently repacked the bearings and inspected the brakes. I see a tag with a part 23-657-00 RH. Can you provide the part number if I order via trailer? I saw that you have the number DX69WR, but the specifications say for a wheel up to 16 1/2”. My wheels are 215/75/17.5. Wheel this item work? Also, could you provide the item for the LH side thank you.

Hey Steve, welcome back! I checked with Grand Design and your 2024 Influence 2903RL has the new Dexter Tow Assist system with ABS and sway control. Since you have 7,000 lbs axles, you'll need the following brake assemblies:

Left Hand - Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake for Dexter ABS Tow Assist item # DX69WR

Right Hand - Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake for Dexter ABS Tow Assist item # DX79WR

These are identical brake assemblies that came on your Grand Design so they'll definitely fit in your existing hubs and work with your 17-1/2" wheels. They are sold individually.

Did you already wear out your brake shoes or are you just wanting to keep a spare set on hand?
