Question:

I have an alliance 29RL I would like to put a safety rail on but I am not sure if it will work with this unit. From the bottom of the door to the bottom of the awning I have 29 inches the awning is only 2.5 inches from the door frame. Would the short work with this unit?

Hey Bob. The MORryde Short Safe-T-Rail Telescoping RV Hand Rail item # MR54RV requires 2.25" of clearance between your door frame and the awning rail. It needs at minimum 31" of vertical clearance. If your awning arm is 2.5" away from your door frame you'll have room.

Does your awning arm extend all the way down to the bottom of your RV? If you look at the pictures attached below you'll see you need an additional 2" of clearance at the base of the Hand Rail item # MR54RV.
