Could Ring Terminals of Bright Way Solar Battery Charger be Replaced with Alligator Clips

I would prefer to use alligator clips to attach to the battery. Is this an option?

Hey Mike, if you wanted to remove the ring terminals of the Bright Way Solar Battery Charger # BRW54FR and install alligator clips you could but we don't carry anything specifically for that.

It's the. Second one I got from you guys for my trailer one is a fl5 bed tilt trailer and it works great the other is a water trailer and I still working on it but I'm sure it's going to be just fine. Thank you 7 for your help

Mike, the charger uses a SAE connector. This is the same plug that Battery Tender brand chargers use. Battery Tender has an SAE to alligator clip pigtail available, and im sure you could find other generic options out there. So to answer your question directly, you absolutely can use alligator clips if you find the right pigtail.

The Brite Way uses a 2 piece bullet connection between the panel and the ring terminals to battery. You can purchase any Bullet/SAE terminal connection from Battery Tender ect. This way you dont need to cut and splice wiring.
