Getting RV roof surfaces ready for sealant starts with the right primer. This solvent-based formula helps Ultra Sealant bond to TPO, EPDM, and polypropylene rooftop accessories, and the light blue color helps you see coverage during application.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Primer for your Dicor Ultra Sealant. Now if you're planning on using the Dicor Ultra Sealant on your RV roof, this surface prep primer is designed to help the sealant bond better and last longer. This is applied before the sealant and it's made specifically for TPO and EPDM rubber roofing, which are two of the most common RV roof materials. It can also be used on polypropylene rooftop accessories such as certain vents and other compatible roof components to improve adhesion there as well.
Now, one helpful feature is that the primer goes on as a light blue color, making it easy to see where you've already applied it. After it's exposed to sunlight, the blue tint fades away and becomes clear so it won't leave a noticeable color behind. This primer uses a solvent-based formula that prepares approved roofing surfaces for a stronger bond with Dicor Ultra Sealant. Just keep in mind that it should never be used on polycarbonate materials including polycarbonate skylights because this is not compatible with those surfaces. And as you probably know, Dicor has built a strong reputation in the RV community for dependable roof care products, and they're commonly found in RV dealerships, camping retailers, and online stores.
So they're frequently recommended by RV technicians for preventative maintenance. I think it's going to wrap up our look today. Again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
