Recommended Flat Towing Parts for a 2015 Jeep Wrangler

Hello I have a 2015 Jeep wrangler 2 door. I have a Winnebago Navion V. What parts would I need to flat tow my jeep? Is there a whole package you’d suggest?! If I were to flat tow this, would it add miles to my jeep? It only has like 20,300 miles now.

Hey Tim, welcome back! We've got everything you need! Flat towing your Jeep will not add miles to the odometer.
To flat tow your two door 2015 Jeep Wrangler you will need the following parts:
Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar item # e74ZR
Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM-521448-5 for the factory standard bumper only.
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System item # BLU37TR and the 12 Volt Outlet Kit item # RM-9332.
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
What specific model is your 2015 Wrangler and what bumper does it have? There's a few different options for baseplate kits depending on which setup you have.

Bumper is original just like the photo. Also has the factory sport bottom plastic “fairing”? I assume this has to go.

Wow that’s big money. Plus installation. Jeep is a 2015 sport, 6 cyl, 6 spd standard. 2 1/2” lift and 35” Is there an option for the baseplate that isn’t as obvious? Like instead of the bar showing, just the 2 prongs showing?
