Hi I have an A60 surge coupler on my trailer and I no longer need brakes. I am searching for a replacement coupler without hydraulics. Thanks

Hey Shawn! You can replace that A60 actuator with the Demco Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # DM15945. This fits a 3" wide channel and 2" ball. It also features the Demco eZ-Latch which allows you to hook up when the latch is in the closed position. If you want a lock to go with it you can use the InfiniteRule # IR92FR.

I purchased this nice 2" ball coupler to replace a 1 7/8" coupler, but it turned out that the old coupler is welded, not bolted, to the trailer arm. So I have not yet been able to use it. Sorry that's not helpful.

I installed the Demco coupler on a boat trailer. It worked great. Easy to attach and release. Unfortunately, I had to remove it and install brakes on the trailer for security on long hauls. The Demco coupler will be installed on a different trailer, without brakes, as I find it superior to the original coupler on that trailer.

Ive pulled trailers all of my life - I love these Demco couplers- i put them on not only my personal trailers but equipment i rent to the public. Never a problem couplimg or uncoupling
